The winner of the 2020 CANIE Global Entrepreneurship Award is Sampler. This Toronto-based company leads a Direct-to-Consumer product sampling platform by helping global brands to deliver samples online and gather the insights they need to build one-on-one relationships with consumers. Sampler is the proud creator of the ultimate product sampling solution. Only Nine months after raising its seed round, Sampler grew to 13 full-time staff and increased their annual revenue by almost 300% in 2015. In 6 years, Sampler has worked with over 300 CPG brands in 24 countries reaching over 50 million consumers. Its most notable clients include industry giants such as Unilever, Pepsi, L’Oréal, (loreal) Henkel, and Kimberly Clark. More recently, Sampler sent out 2,000 sewing kits for consumers to produce non-medical-grade masks for Toronto’s essential workers in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
