Innovators & Entrepreneurs Foundation is located on the traditional unceded, unsurrendered territory of the Anishinaabe Algonquin People.
As a national charity dedicated to serving those subjected to unjust systemic biases, we embrace our responsibility and debt of gratitude to honour the traditional stewards of this land.
The Algonquin People have resided on and nurtured the lands and bodies of water well before the present day. We express our appreciation and reverence to both them and the land, water, and trees for the abundant provisions it offers us—sustenance in the form of water and food, and pathways that bring us together.
Our team, volunteers, and Board of Directors works remotely across this portion of Turtle Island. We honour the rights and sovereignty of the Indigenous Peoples across Turtle Island on whose territory we live, work, and play. We commit to listening to and working in solidarity with Indigenous peoples in a spirit of reconciliation as we work to support and celebrate entrepreneurs and innovators from all racialized and equity-seeking groups.
