Startup Canada Entrepreneur Support Award

The winner of the 2019 Entrepreneur Support Award is OSMO, a Montreal-based Foundation dedicated to growing the cities entrepreneurship sector, through igniting more than 1,000 startup community initiatives, projects, and programs, including the Notman House. Through the Notman House, Montreal’s hub for entrepreneurs, OSMO has supported nearly 200 early-stage companies to raise more than $600 million dollars in venture capital and grow to more than 1.6 billion dollars in company valuation.  Last year, the OSMO Foundation became Quebec’s official regional innovation hub and together with Montreal Inc., OSMO created Bonjour Startup Montréal, to further unite Montreal’s startup community, government, and world-class universities. Through their leadership, OSMO has transformed Montreal and Quebec’s landscape for entrepreneurs.
