The winner of the Startup Canada Young Entrepreneur Award is Calgary-based entrepreneur Claire Du. A young technology evangelist with a fierce passion for innovation. Claire Du is the co-founder of AI for Youth Canada, a federally incorporated non-profit organization with chapters across Canada, that connects high school students with AI professors and industry leaders, to expose young people to artificial intelligence technology. Last year, Claire organized Canada’s first National AI Conference for High School students. The conference raised more than $1,000 to provide youth with hands-on opportunities at AI labs at universities across Canada. Claire Du is a rising star with an entrepreneurial spirit, inspiring young people to use advanced technologies to create a better future.
