The winner of the 2019 Startup Canada Community Leader Award is Colin Weston, Founding leader of Startup Vancouver, an official Startup Canada Community. In early 2017, Colin Weston partnered with co-founder Rob Foxall to launch Startup Vancouver. Today, Startup Vancouver boasts thousands of members, six major partners, and is the go-to hub for every entrepreneur in Vancouver. Inspired by his own need for support as he co-founded REVIVER Sport Entertainment in 2011, Colin was left wanting to give back to the local startup ecosystem. Now, he provides the resources and support he wished were available when he first began his entrepreneurial journey. Colin West is a one-of-a-kind leader, raising the bar for Startup Communities across Canada and the world.
