Hi there and welcome to the relaunch of our monthly newsletter!
For this relaunched Newsletter we wanted to take the time to introduce you to our team and give you a quick update on our programs. We are also excited to introduce an innovative tool that supports your research needs, created by Canada Foundation for Innovation called Navigator.
We are so excited to share our journey with you, keep you informed about the new and developing programs we are running and to celebrate your successes in innovation and entrepreneurship along the way.
For those of you not as familiar with the Foundation and our purpose we invite you to visit the About Us page of our website which provides an explanation of our mission as well as an introduction to our programs and objectives this year.
Each month we will update on the main activities of the Foundation as well as share services and resources from our partners in the ecosystem. Monthly we will showcase local businesses from coast to coast to coast with the goal to not only inspire you, but generate awareness of the amazing innovators and entrepreneurs in Canada.
We want to hear from you too! We would love to know your opinion on what would be beneficial to include in this letter. What other information would you like to see?

CANIE Round Tables

To understand the needs, opportunities and challenges faced by entrepreneurs and innovators in Canada, The Foundation is committed to investment in research. As a first step to a much larger strategy planned in 2022, we brought together the 2021 CANIE Award winners, semi-finalists, our valued partners and other Foundation allies to form 3 Round Table discussions. Our objective was to create a space where the voices of entrepreneurs and innovators could be clearly heard, information could be gathered and a report formed to share in both the private and public sectors with a view to influencing change for the better.
A report with the highlights from those discussions is in the final phase of being drafted and we will circulate the findings with both the public and private sector to support in influencing change for entrepreneurs and innovators in marginalized communities across the country. to support efforts and influence change for the better, for entrepreneurs and innovators in marginalized communities across the country.
